B.Ed. is an undergraduate program with Choice Based Credit System & Continuous Assessment and Grading Pattern ( CBCS & CAGP) of two year (4 Semesters) duration leading to the bachelors degree in education. Normally the program starts in December /January every year and ends in the coming year.

Intake :100; Government quota 50, Management quota 50
Eligibility : All graduates /post graduates with 50% marks in aggregate of all the 3and2 years respectively in case of general category ,45% in case of SC/ST /C1 and PH are eligible for admission.
INTERNSHIP
- Internship: It is a very important and an integral part of teacher education program. The following High Schools/Junior Colleges in the District of Hassan, are used for the purpose of Practice of Teaching.

INFRASTRUCTURE:
The Institution has all the required physical and academic facilities which are essential for a good teacher education institution. In addition to well equipped class rooms, there are special rooms and the laboratories which are very much needed for an effective curricular transaction.
Psychology resource centre:
Psychology is an integral part of the educative process. It’s a room specially equipped to undertake experiments/practicals in educational psychology.
Science resource centre
“Learning by doing and Learning by seeing”:
A room specially equipped for carrying out experiments/ demonstrations relating to various topics of the school science curriculum.

In this age of computers, we have a special room with sufficient computer systems with internet facility to help students practice, explore and update with the fast changing world.
Library and reading room
“Reading maketh a full man”:
Regarded as the sanctum sanctorum of an educational institution. There are 5800 plus books in the library and provides reference accommodation for 30 – 50 students. About 20 magazines and journals of general and educational interest are subscribed.
Multipurpose hall
A large spacious and well-furnished auditorium with a seating capacity for nearly 300 people which could also be used multipurpose – functions / celebrations, seminars , workshops, indoor games etc.,
Hostels
Separate hostel facilities for ladies and gents exclusively maintained by the trust are available.
OTHERS
Many student friendly services like Xerox, printers, Canteen and mess facilities are provided on a no profit- no loss basis.
